Student Led Conferences: My Learning Journey AVAILABLE

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

This session will focus on how to create opportunities which allow the student to take ownership and lead conversations with parents about their learning. Participants will come with us on the journey our school has taken, from traditional parent teacher interviews, to conversations between students and parents about student learning, to a dynamic model where students are in the driving seat actively sharing their learning with their families. We will share different models of student led conferences, and give practical advice on how to make this a successful, worthwhile and student-centered learning opportunity. We will share some of the research behind the student led conference model. By the end of the session, participants will have a toolkit of strategies to take back to their school and set up their own student led conferences.
