Limited Capacity full

During this session, we will examine current research related to STEM and STEAM and how simple children's stories can lead to incredible learning. Ideas include linking Humpty Dumpty with LEGO and iMovie, storytelling with puppets and green screens, and putting Marilyn Fleer's Story Worlds concept into action. There is no end to the inspiration that can be found in children's stories, and we will review current research and techniques, come up with ideas, and explore how seamlessly STEAM can be integrated into different subjects throughout the school day. The ideas shared will be primarily targeted at children between the ages of 3 and 8 years old, however, anyone who wants to know more about integrating STEM or STEAM into their lessons is welcome.
